Baltasar Gracián, a Spanish Jesuit philosopher and writer once wrote, “Great ability develops and reveals itself increasingly with every new assignment.” Carolina Herrera is no exception. Carolina Herrera’s show was luxurious and proved that her ability to emulate great fashion only gets better with every passing year. This native Venezuelan made her debut in 1981 when she launched the Carolina Herrera fragrance line.

The 2005 show was rich with textures, fabrics and color. The word beautiful does not seem to give Herrera the justice that she so rightfully deserves. Elegant and eclectic, simple and sophisticated - Herrera knows how to tap into her own timelessness and deliver a show that left many reporters longing for Spring.
