On November 18th,
Bloomindales unveiled their most opulent window
display ever and NewYorkCool.com photographer
Lizzie Heard was on hand to document it for our
New York Cool readers. The Phantom movie
opened December 22nd and is presently in theaters
nationwide.
Enjoy!

Three
wildly elaborate masks. |
 |
| From the boat scene in
the movie where the Phantom takes Christine
down into the bowels of the Paris Opera House. |
 |
Mask:
From the Masquarade number in the film, where
everyone comes to a costume ball dressed in
black and white and wearing masks. |
 |
| Another opera that is
performed in the movie and the elaborate costumes
from that scene. It is the second opera performed.
The original diva comes back and gets the
lead and Christine is bumped down to the page
boy. |
 |
Diva of the Opera:
From the scene in the show where the original
diva, played by Minnie Driver in the film,
quits and creates the opportunity for Christine
to replace her as the star of the show. |
 |
| This
gown was not in the film but was rather inspired
by it. The mannequin looks like the lead female
character, Christine, played by Emmy Rossum. |
