Rivera and Mary Blanco sent in these images from
the Shopping for Justice protest on December 16,
2006 on Fifth Avenue. The demonstration was organized
to protest the November 25, 2006 police shooting
of Sean Bell, a young black man who was shot and
killed as he left his bachelor party early on the
day he was to be married. Reverend Al Sharpton pushed
shooting survivor Trent Benefield's wheelchair and
Harry Bellafonte marched.
