Gustavo Arango

It’s always great to see a New York City Fashion Institute of Technology graduate holding the spotlight during Olympus Fashion Week. Born in Colombia and raised in Puerto Rico, Gustavo Arango came to Manhattan to study design.

His line exuded his talent for tailoring, draping techniques and an intricate eye for detail.
The showstopper was a sheer black dress with a high leather waste band. The dress was simple, seductive and sultry and evident that Arango knows what New York City women are looking for. Overall Arango presented a sleek and modern line that would have Carrie Bradshaw shouting, “Thank you!”
