Alexandre Herchovitch has a flair for presenting
the unique and unexpected; deconstructed frocks
in bold tribal prints took center stage as Herchcovitch’s
models walked the runway driven by the sound of
the eclectic indie one-man-band Final Fantasy.
“We took inspiration for
this collection from a South American tribe and
[then] incorporated themes from the punk movement
into how the tribal people dress. Music also inspires
me; I feel that music and fashion run parallel.
I have friends in the music business who are inspired
by fashion as well,” said Herchovitch.
His revolutionary looks and sublime
musical taste created one of Fashion Week’s
most intriguing shows; it definitely gave fashion’s
experimental players something to look forward to
next spring.
