Why the love boat
theme song was not heard oozing over the runway
is simply beyond me. The boys of Costello Tagliapietra
sent out a bevvy of happy, sexy girls in the most
fluid and elegant dresses of the season. They were
echoing the easy breezy era of the seventies social
set with light jersey pieces in earth tones of red
ochre, petal pink and bone. To accentuate the point,
a wrap dress was thrown in the mix as a nod to the
apparent muse, Madame DVF.
Key pieces included a brown-gold metallic moire
dress and a grape empire v-neck dress that would
of been perfect for a dinner date at La Grenouille
and a twirl at 54.
