Pajama Party Style

Mickey Sills of Miss Scanty won the Mercury Milan Style Award and his show on September 9, 2006 was one frolicking party. The Miss Scanty collection features mix and match bikini brief and tops, drawstring pants, tank tops and short nightgowns. The models cavorted on the runway in bra tops and pajama bottoms ending in a free for all pillow fight. It was a cotten candy world.

But there is more about this cloting line: Scanty is having a huge open to the public model searlch for for Scanty next week - Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 6-8 at Bloomingdale's uptown in NYC.

The story behind this event is interesting too (quoted from the Think Publications Relatioins press release):

"Scanty is one of the most popular pajama brands around (tons of celebs love
it and its regularly featured on "The OC"); Elle magazine held a contest
during the months before Fashion Week NYC where readers could vote for one
of three designers to be the winner of the Mercury Milan Style Award.
Mercury (the car company) would sponsor a full out fashion show at NYC and
Miami Fashion weeks - it's a great program that gives voice to newer
designers who don't have enough capital to participate in the Tents.

Long story short - Scanty - the crazy pajama brand form Los Angeles won the
award and took NYC fashion week by storm with its unconventional approach! NOW we are looking for a new spokesmodel to tour with the brand since its getting so much great attention and Bloomingdale's is hosting the open-casting call!

It's sure to be a fun and lively event which draws a crowd! The next Miss
Scanty could be anyone who attends!"
