One never quite knows
what to expect when the lights go up and the booming
bass begins at a Rosa Cha show. This show was no
exception with ruffled collars,
sequined bustiers and belts that were large enough
to use as a cover-up but
small enough to be typically brazenly Brazilian.
Too skinny models got a work out
in the massive cork and gold platform sandals
as well as from the weight of the more-is-more gold
chain used as straps and
general adornment. Of course most of what was seen
would hardly be
appropriate for the beach (or Ivana Trump, who was
front row) but toile de
fete prints and pleated two piece halter with beads
would look great on any
well toned beach dweller.
My one major disappointment: no menswear!
