It was all about skin at the Venexiana show, one of the sexiest collections presented at Spring 2007 Olympus Fashion Week. The Katie Stern for Venexiana collection showcased a line of hip hot casual wear. And her evening wear added a hint of romance to the collection with sensual chiffons, floral printed halter gowns and adorable spaghetti strap mini dresses with exaggerated pouch pockets.

The models tore-up the runway in shoes provided by Giuseppe Zanotti and Via Spiga. Make-up artist Shannon Grey Williams gave the sirens a dramatic look with heavy eye shadow and glossy lips and Bumble and Bumble smoothed and fastened their sleek tresses.

“Working with [Kati] has been a dream. She is my inspiration, my best friend and one of the most talented artists that I have ever met. What she does for women is incredible; she knows how to make women look beautiful and feel good about themselves,” said Stern’s assistant Reco Winn.

But despite his unquestionable admiration for this phenomenal lady (who also happens to be an architect), Winn satirically stated, “She creates all of this incredible clothing for women, but where is the men’s line-- I’m still waiting for it!” I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Venexiana will have in store for Winn (and for us) next season.
