Zulema Griffin is one of the cool young designers discovered by Project Runway (Season II) and New York Cool has been hot on her trail ever since. We covered her show at Brooklyn Fashion Week(End) in May of 2006. We even covered her when she performed at the Upright Citizen's Brigade's parody of Showgirls. So we were psyched to see her fashion-in-a-nightclub show at Cielo.

It was a cool scene, the show/party was sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and there was an open Vodka bar and hor d'oeuvres for the large crowd of fashionistas. On hand to cheer Zulema on were her fellow runway alumna, Diane Eng, and the ubiquitous Paris Hilton look-a-like Natalie Reid.

And then the show started and the models worked the runway in Zulema's line of street-savvy urban ready-to-wear. With their hot colors and futuristic fabrics, these outfits were just the thing to stand out in a crowd at a club like Cielo.
