B.Nice’s debut solo album is one worth listening
to. Do the Nice Thing is chock-full of
entertaining lyrics with beats to match. Each song
tells a story and he manages to deliver his message
minus the profanity, sex, money and drugs. His album
is wholesome and his style makes me reminisce to
the time when I first fell in love with hip-hop.
His interludes are enjoyable and transition perfectly
with the content in the cd. B.Nice is an artist
worth looking out for! He is known upstate, especially
in New Paltz, but it won’t be long until we
hear more about him here in the tri-state area.
Some of my favorite songs include “Full Time,”
“Diamond Girl,” “Lovely Day”
and “Look Clean.” His album discusses
the complex person he is, how he has kept and lost
personal relationships, encountered fake people
and fell in love. His album is upbeat and you can’t
help stepping away with a smile. If you are looking
for an artist that puts everything into his music
and sends a positive message to his listeners then
pick up a copy of Do the Nice Thing, you won’t
be disappointed!
