New York Cool photographer Angelo Rivera was out and about in Central Park this weekend where he got these images of what may soon be ghosts of Christmas past. There is a movement afoot in New York to outlaw the horse drawn carriages because of the danger that is posed to the horses. We here at New York Cool hope that there can be some kind of compromise that will ensure the welfare of the horses and still let New Yorkers and millions of tourists enjoy both seeing the carriages and riding in them. So enjoy the images while you can.
