Miami's South Beach Mercury Suites Resort Hotel is a condo hotel that seamlessly functions as a commercial hotel. Located on the lower part of South Beach (the 100 block of Collins Avenue) the Mercury is tucked away from the liveliness of Ocean Avenue but close to many of the area's finest restaurants and club such as Joe's Stone Crab, Prive (next door) and the China Grill. It is also caty-corner to the campy inexpensive fun of Big Pink and just a step away from Shoji Sushi.

All the rooms are suites. The poolside suites and the penthouses are especially cool. The penthouses sleep four and rent for around $320 a night during low season. The junior suites (king size bed) rent for as low as $120 a night during low season.

The hotel has a cool European vibe and attracts a clientele of European tourists.
And it would be a great choice for any vacationer who wants sophisticated accommodations (at a moderate price) that are close to the madness of South Beach but far away enough to ensure a good night's sleep.
