Just walking down Ocean Avenue, you are drawn into the Winter Haven's soaring dramatic Art Deco lobby with its Miami-chic minimalist furnishings. Inside the lobby, there are multiple sitting areas on both the main floor and the mezzanine which overlooks the lobby’s cool Martini Bar.

Miami's South Beach Winter Haven Hotel is a fun sophisticated and inexpensive choice for a Miami vacation (see the $79 low season special on the website). The disadvantage of small (but comfortable rooms) and the lack of a pool are balanced out by a stunning roof deck (featuring bright yellow lounge chairs and cherry red awnings). The Winter Haven advertises that it has the best Atlantic views in Miami and they just may be right.
