Sex and the City stylist, fashion icon and downtown urban pioneer Patricia Field designed a new doll and for the Mattel Barbie doll collection and on November 13, 2007, Pat threw a party to celebrate the launch. On hand were all the usual suspects, the living Barbie dolls who know they can count on Pat Field to feed their hippness with raging rags.

New York Cool photographer Fred Scott was on hand and got these photographs of the doll on display, the grown-up dolls in attendance and Pat's line of Barbie doll clothes for not-quite-so-grown-up girls. Enjoy!
