Artist Pali-X-Mano
describes himself on his website
as a "creative Hungarian Artist-Shaman living
and working in Paradise (Santa Barbara, California)."
And he goes on to say: "My Life is a "PLAY"
and my Art is my "PLAYGROUND". My Whimsical
Creations, self-painted Clothing and painted Cars
make people smile. Smiles extend Life. Therefore
my purpose is to make more and more people smile."
This October he
displayed his inflatable art pieces on the grounds
of the Santa
Barbara Museum of Art during their art fair.
Pali-X-Mano was present doing a performance art
piece by painting a car on site. The performance
piece was fun and filled with as much exuberance
and delight as the inflatables. It was an utter
hoot and it was quintessential California.
