Actor/Fashion Designer Jamie Hector (Marlo Stanfield on HBO's The Wire) held a Brooklyn Fashion Week(End) Show for his fashion line, Royal Addiction. The show was highly interactive and proved that fashion is indeed a spectator sport. The designer brought a few friends from The Wire to strut down the catwalk and the crowd went wild.

The collection was steeped in denim, tee-shirts, and hoodies. The jean pocket treatments were particularly fresh and brought a hip-hop look to the clothing. Rich in urban vibe, the vivid colors used throughout the shirts were bright and commanded attention.

The line felt very real without any designer pretension. There was a sexy undertone seen in the women’s hats; they were raw and edgy. The collection was a success with the enthusiastic audience and we look forward to seeing this designer’s next project.
