Once a year the incredible
San Francisco based Academy of Art bring their graduate
students to New York City to "show their stuff"
at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. These designers live
in an alternate universe, one where they are not
exposed to our New Yorkness and are free to think
outside the box and design dresses with matching
motorcycle helmets and frame models eyes with face
flowers.
The Academy of Art
show is one of the most fun Fashion Week shows.
Innovative and fun, it is also a chance to look
for the next hot designer - the one we will all
be talking about in a few years.
