Designer Ray Costarella showed his Spring 2008 Aurelio Costarella line in the Prince George Ballroom. This Australian native has been designing gorgeous clothing for almost twenty years and he recently began showing during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Costarella's Spring 2008 collection was sexy and fitted and it was impressive that such well fitting garments had movement.

The color palette for this red-carpet-worthy-line-of -clothing was mostly cream, light gold, dusty pink and black. The pieces had a lot of texture and the attention to detail in the construction was gorgeous. The looks had a soft, ethereal quality that was toughened-up by gunmetal accents and liquid metallic trim. The iconic draping and leather pailette shrugs looked phenomenal on the runway.

The intricate layers of chiffon were just so gorgeous, and everything spoke to full-blown glamour. Costarella's line is loved by Hollywood starlets like his fellow Australian natives Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts. And porn-star-and-gal-about-town Jenna Jameson showed up and sat front row to show her support.
