Lyn Devon’s
spring 2008 collection sported color blocking and
clean lines. The show gave a wonderful start to
an early Monday morning in the Tents with birds
chirping at the beginning of the show. All of the
attention was given to the clothing, as the models
sported identical red bob cuts with blunt bangs.
This choice of styling worked well with the sporty
ensembles.
The color palette was done in
blues, navy, and cream with injections of fuchsia
and orange. The line was very smart, and it was
easy to envision the pieces transitioning from the
runway to reality. The majority of the thirty-five
looks in the collection were sporty dresses that
draped well over the body. The pieces were extremely
flattering, and the use of Swarovski crystals made
the clothing really shine.
