Nili Lotan showed
a bohemian collection that featured movement, sexy
prints, and a laidback sensibility. There was a
comfortable feeling generated by the clothing that
practically danced down the runway. The line felt
timeless, but in a very current way. It was impressive
that such different feelings worked in harmony to
create a line filled with depth and imagination.
This Israeli designer focused
on clean silhouettes some of which reflected political
undertones. These conflicts blended the impact of
global injustice with high style hauteness. A simple
cream, black, and red color palette anchored the
line in a simplicity that worked well with the exquisitely
tailored pieces. Everything was decidedly sophisticated
with a flowy elegance that created a lasting impression
of beauty.
