HK: From the moment the Asian style doors slid open with only a touch of the bouncer’s finger I was overcome by atmosphere: the tables were lit with soft candle lights; the bar was a sea of blue lights; puffed couches lined the walls; and huge pictures of Phillipe flashed on the wall. The bar was manned by gorgeous male bartenders who served Clementine vodka (Svedka). Then Phillipe Blond made his entrance surrounded by an aura of flashing camera lights. He (Philippe) wore a strappy tank-mini dress covered with thousands of crystals. (Barbie will be so jealous.) It was official; I was at one of Mauricio and Roger Padilha's MAO Magazine parties.

About that dress: Cynthia Kirchner (Garnier Fructis, Express, Guess?) of Marilyn Models wore the same crystal dress on the cover of the August edition of Zink Magazine. And that dress (designed by The Blonds) was also previously worn by Beyonce. The Blonds (the fashion line of Phillipe and David Blond) create incredible pieces that have been seen on fashion icons and celebrities such as Fergie, Christina Aguilera, Ashanti and Tyra Banks.
