Brazilian beachwear brand Cia.Maritima debuted its 2009 collection on Sunday night at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim. Inspired by the psychedelic looks of the 1960’s and 1970’s, the line featured hand crafted tie dye suits and cover-ups, classic animal prints, and graphic prints in colors such as coral, lavender, olive, and other muted tones.

Expecting to see many skimpy "Brazilian Style" bottoms on the suits, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Cia.Maritima chose instead to showcase a "Saint-Tropez Style" low rise bottom featuring a lower cut in front, with more coverage in the back. (a friendlier style for the average woman).

The sexy swimwear collection also included coordinating cover-ups in tunics, skirts, shorts, and dresses which completed the high fashion looks.
