definitely knows a thing or two about styling, merchandising,
and the art of creating serious buzz. Just steps
away from the madness of Bryant Park, the Alice
+ Olivia boutique held an in store presentation
that was literally overflowing with editors, fashionistas,
and everyone fabulous.
There was a distinct monochromatic
theme in the clothing that reflected a bad girl
rocker vibe. Entitled “Breakfast in Bed,”
each vignette featured models wearing mod and pop
art colors in intimate settings. Frocks, blouses,
separates, and gowns were all beautifully displayed.
However, the real stars of this display were the
Payless shoes available in booties and pumps. This
cost-conscience foot candy was shown in bright haute
hues that were literally stopping traffic at every
turn.
