The Fall 2008 Carlos Mieles show was an explosion of color and texture. Earth's tones of of gold, red and orange walked the runway coloring wonderful silks and shruggy wool knits. The daywear featured bright colors, short skirts, deconstructed sweaters and and sculpted furs.

Brazilian Miele is known for his sexy clingy backless evening gowns. Of particular note for Fall of 2008 was his taupe evening gown featuring an elongated bodice with alternating sections of silk and leather.
