Diesel continued its foray into the deconstructed future with their Fall 2008 line. The Diesel Website has a section titled Join The Cult. And it is a cult inhabited by the coolest kids in town, the ones who "wear their sunglasses at night" and tramp the streets in militaristic-chic duds.

When Diesel opened on Union Square in 2003 and the paper was torn away from the Stephen Sprouse designed windows, all the passers-by knew something truly unique and wonderful had flown in from the Land of Oz. It was the birth of ugly-chic, simple seemingly-nothing clothes that look stunning on because of their cut and fit.

It is fuel and it is Diesel.
