Inspired by Roxy Music, the mantra for the Patrik
Rzepski Fall 2008 show was inscribed on the programs
as, “Continental style strasse girls might.
But you know exactly if it's wrong or right.”
This distinct rhetoric was echoed in the deliberate
clothing that portrayed a moody viewpoint with dark
colors, sheer fabric, and a lumberjack-inspired
plaid print. Interspersing transparent textures
with bulkier knits toughened up the line with a
sexy edge.
These highly creative looks utilized basics in interesting
ways. The loose fitting zippered tights were particularly
chic with raw panache. The slouchy looks were sublimely
proportioned with rebellious undercurrents.
