Tibi designer Amy Smilovic put forth a Fall 2008 Collection that was brimming with paisley, prints, and iconic graphics. The clothing felt like an extension of the spring line, and it was lovely to watch a designer build on last season’s line. There was a real sense of cohesion in the collection that felt retro, yet modern. The funky sensibility was feminine, but still managed to feel tough. The subversiveness in the line worked to create a British feel that was wrapped up in a downtown vibe.

The formal wear transitioned from neutrals to bright hues with a standout gold gown that had show-goers literally gasping. This RTW collection was well executed, and it spoke to the rocker chick who has a sophisticated edge.
