Music Festival season
is upon us. South Florida’s Big Cypress Seminole
Indian Reservation will be home to the 6th Annual
Langerado Festival. Grounds open March 6th for those
choosing to camp; the music starts March 7th and
runs through March 9th.
New York Cool's Amy
Davidson and a writer (TBD) will be at Langerado
2008 and will report back on the music and the scene.
The lineup includes: The Beastie Boys; REM, 311;
The National; the Roots; Matisyahu; Dead Confederates;
Ani Difranco; Ben Folds; State Radio; Thievery Corporation;
Les Claypool and many more.
In an attempt to make big venue
shows green, the numerous stages and light towers
will be run on bio diesel. Vendors will also be
required to serve food in 100% biodegradable containers
and use recycled paper products.
Single day tickets and weekend
passes on sale now at 1.800.594.TIXX (8499) and
through online secure ticketing at www.langerado.com.
