On a cold day in
January, a group of Barack Obama supporters rallied
on the steps of City Hall in support of their
candidate. Senator Obama himself was not present
but his spirit was felt through the enthusiastic
faces of his supporters, both young and old. One
of the highlights of the rally was the endorsement
of Senator Obama by the Correction Officer's Benevolent
Association. This endorsement was given in a speech
by the union's president, Norman Seabrook and
was Senator Obama's first New York union endorsement.
