Earnest Sewn recently teamed up
with National Jean Company for a fashion show at
Slate Lounge. This event marked the commencement
of the five day charity drive, Make an Earnest Difference.
This initiative celebrates the life going green
trend by repurposing denim and cotton that would
otherwise be discarded. This eco-friendly program
recycles used fabric into home insulation designated
for less fortunate communities. This insulation
is called UltraTouch, and show attendees certainly
did their part to support this fashion forward cause.
Socialites about town were spotted donating denim
while sipping cocktails courtesy of Pearl Vodka.
We just love when retailers go the extra mile to
help out deserving neighborhoods, and it’s
even better when there is a catwalk with killer
denim involved. Bonus, the UltraTouch insulation
is environmentally safe.
