If you haven’t yet seen the hit show Xanadu, you are missing one of the best shows on Broadway. At the heart of the show is Cheyenne Jackson playing the role of Sonny Malone. With his good looks, physical stature and immeasurable charisma, Cheyenne has been winning over fans by the hundreds. Although he may be better known for his hulking thighs, those close to him say they are no match for his warmth and sincerity. All of these qualities clearly transcend into his performance.

Since Cheyenne is only thirty-three years old, Broadway audiences have many years of his stellar performances to look forward to. But despite Cheyenne's relatively young Broadway career and becuase of his talent and charm, Tony's di Napoli restaurant decided to grace their walls with a potrait of Cheyenne.

As the restaurant does with all of its caricature dedications, Tony’s di Napoli hosted a party on Thursday, August 14, 2008 to officially unveil their latest portrait.

Hosted by Valerie Smaldone and Bruce Dimpflmaier, the evening was a rousing success. Cheyenne was joined by the rest of the cast of Xanadu, including current cast member Whoopi Goldberg (who signed on for a six-week engagement0 and permanent cast member Tony Roberts. But the A-list didn’t stop there. Cheyenne was later joined by recent Broadway hit [title of show]’s Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell and Larry Pressgrove. And just minutes later they were all joined by Lin-Manuel Miranda of In the Heights fame. The evening became a who’s who of the brightest young Broadway talent.
