A Detacher designer Mona Kowalska presented a line of minimalistic casual wear for Spring 2009. The line was created from a neutral palette and featured skinny-cut pants, blousy walking shorts, soft knits and strategically placed zippers. The line is filled with attitude, but it is the "You don't have to shout to be noticed kind of attitude."

Here is a quote from the press release that describes the line: "Designer, Mona Kowalska serves up an immaculate selection of covetable dresses, jackets and jewelry in her bohemia-meets-Manhattan minimalist boutique. The boutique is celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a runway show at the Altman Building. They have devoted clientele such as: Maggie Gyllenhaal (Actress,) Amy Larocca (Fashion Editor,) Helena Christensen (Former model and fashion photographer,) Gian Franco Ferre (Designer,) etc. It is a lifestyle brand that will feature ready-to-wear, belts, bags, and shoes. They sell in LA, NY, and Japan."

The New York A Detacher boutique is located in Nolita at 262 Mott St. It is definitely worth a visit for the fashionista who wants to look "hot" but despises neon.
