Diesel Black Gold went back to its roots for spring/summer of 2009 and that would be their "southern" roots. Miss Mississippis strode the runway like it was a down home country lane, wearing slip dresses and confederate hats. The look was young and fun with slouchy distressed jeans (an artful splash of bleach) topped by equally slouchy distressed tops. Cuffed jeans with full legs (note to Tim Gunn, Katie Holmes may have known what she was thinking) hit the runway and will undoubtedly be hitting the streets pronto.

And everyone might as well go out right now and start looking for neon colored cuffed ankle boots. You will definitely need them next spring.
