The House of Cassette’s Style 360 Fashion
Week debut was not what one would expect from one
of downtown LA’s rising independent labels.
Most of this collection consisted of staple pieces,
such as jeans, tees, and shirt dresses in drone,
washed out colors. While the clothing does speak
to a creative and rebellious demographic, Cassettes’s
collective of designers would greatly benefit from
a visit to the South Bronx. A black leather men’s
hoodie and a strapless bustier dress were some of
the more refreshing pieces shown on the runway,
but, unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to leave
a lasting impression.
