Oh my! Tony Cohen has certainly designed a line for the woman who does not want to see herself coming down the street. Fabric and more fabric, wrap and more wrap, drape and gather, tone on tone; Cohen for Spring 2009 is a deconstructed wonder transported from a distant galaxy.

While many of the garments could only be worn by avant-garde gazelles with a love of the absurd, some of Cohen's designs would flatter a variety of shapes. The Diane Von Furstenberg stype wrap dresses were chic and fun and the voluminous spaghetti strapped mocha number would be just the thing for after-beach parties.

P. S. to Cohen's Stylist: Lose the hairstyle. It is hard to look at the photos without wanting to `shampoo the models hair.
