Champagne flowed and delectable hor dourves were
served at the Spring 2010 Tigerlily swim wear line
debut held on the W Hotel rooftop. As I walked out
on the roof, I was greeted by three gorgeous models
wearing some of the cutest one and two piece bathing
suits I had ever laid eyes upon.

Tigerlily combines
the sophistication and polish of NYC and the laid
back cool of
LA. The line told three stories: Beach Frills was
created from pastels with hints of black; Sophisticated
Bohemian featured a more neutral color pallet interpreted
with texture; and Night Tigerlily featured swim
wear and lingerie in darker hues.
Tigerlily is a brand for the confident; it encompasses
all that is sexy. The swimsuits are more than just
fun, they are multi functional pieces that can easily
go from an afternoon stroll on the beach to a night
on the town. My favorite was a black eyelet cover-up
that looks just as amazing over a bikini as would
over a pair of shorts and a tank. Slouchy pants,
short shorts and frilly dresses with unexpected
details like exposed zippers are just a few things
to look forward to for next Spring. And with a price
point from $150 to $275,the line is not only great
looking. it is also accessible to fashionistas of
every budget. The line is carried at New York retailers
Breeze Swimwear, Two Azaleas and Great Shapes as
well as numerous locations on the west coast.

I left the event
with a full tummy, a slight buzz and a list of must
have additions for my Spring 2010 wardrobe. Thank
you Tigerlily.
