Dancer, dance studio
owner and choreographer Burju Perez recently celebrated
the launch of her dance-inspired shoe line. The
launch party included both a street wear/dance and
bridal/special event fashion show. Models wore dresses
by Kathlin Argiro, jewelry by Lisa Linhardt, and
bridal gowns by Lisa Krizner-George of Vanilla Pink.
Live entertainment was provided by DJ Danny Ramirez
and famed salsa pianist, “Pulpo,” and
the hors d’oeuvres and mini desserts were
courtesy of Las Chicas Bakery.

The private 2nd floor
Shoe Salon allowed attendees to touch, feel and
try on Burju for themselves and order custom shoes
at a discount. Burju Shoes infuses fashion with
comfort, perfectly suited for hours of dancing and
staying on your feet. Burju says that her shoes
“fit like a sock”. The shoes are engineered
like a professional dance shoe, with a remarkably
flexible suede sole.
Burju Shoes
are not just for dancers, but for every woman looking
for all-day comfort and style. Burju currently offers
over 50 styles of shoes for men, women and children.
The shoes can be custom-ordered internationally
at www.BurjuShoes.com and
at select retail boutique worldwide. The shoes are
very reasonably priced, with clearance at $60, best
sellers at $95 and “dance natural styles”
at $185. Customers can customize the color combination,
width, height of heel (from 1 ¾” to
3 ¾”), trim, detailing and beadwork.
For those of us with petite feet, sizing starts
at a size 4! Dancers, professional women and brides-to-be
are able to walk and dance proudly, showing off
their personal style without having to switch into
another pair of shoes to maintain comfort.
