The Edeyo Foundation
hosted a benefit/party at the Meat Packing Districts'
posh new night spot, The Griffin Club on June
25, 2009. The Griffin Club occupies the space
that was formerly PM.
The Edeyo Foundation (quote from their website):"is
an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated
to improving the future of children in Haiti by
rebuilding dilapidated schools, supplying students
with learning materials, and providing them with
nutritional support."
The party was a smashing success;
the club was filled with fashionable young people
who had "polished their kits" to come
out and support a worthy cause.
