At the Breakout Designer
Series, the crowd gathered to see not just a presentation,
but a photo shoot featuring Stem Designs.
F.I.T graduates
Gabrielle Morales and Jacqueline Rank of Stem Designs
showed a debut collection of flirty pieces with
a modern, geometric twist. The swimwear created
from reflective spandex was a strong point in a
collection that included asymmetrical dresses and
airy organza blazers in muted pastels of lilac,
yellow and gray. Added details, such as exposed
zippers, stud accents on dresses and pencil skirts,
gave the designs sharpness.
