Michael Kors was one of the few designers to show menswear at September Fashion Week. His menswear is (as are his designs for women) colored from a palette of blue, gray with a touch of white and purple. The men's line features sharply tailored jackets in colors that would be perfect for a fete in Palms Springs; they are artsy clothes for an artsy lifestyle. .

Kors line for Spring 2010 showcased the traditional lines and tailoring for which Kors in renowned. But this traditional tailoring was "funned up" by casual sweaters with out outs and slits.

For women, there are a group of artfully constructed sheaths for the "sheath and pearls" set. Of note was the architectural sleeve on an interesting blue sheath which would be just the thing for the "lady who lunches" who like a touch of whimsy in her dress.

And there was, of course, the required incredibly hot swimsuit that you could never wear in a pool (plastic cutouts).
