Four year Fashion
Week veteran Malan Breton produced his most entertaining
show yet on September 15, 2009. Presented as part
of Style 360 (the host to other fun designers like
Abbi Ferrin, Walter and Avril Levigne), Malan "went
all out" and hired the 40 pieces Chelsea Symphony
to play for his show. He also used two ballet dancers
plus one adorable little girl as models.
Malan Breton showed his usual sophisticated, well
bred dresses made from beautiful silks. Of particular
note was the stunning black evening dress which
featured a trapeze of see-through silk voile. Now
that's a dress to stop traffic.
The menswear part
of the line ranged from traditional black suiting
to one very bright red suit and a both a suit and
suit coat made from a gray and lavender silk print
- attire sharp enough to attract attention from
Palm Beach to Palm Springs.
Malan Breton: Costumes
for your most exotic romantic fantasies.
The Malan Breton
Show was sponsored by the Rado Watch Company of
Switzerland.
