Magic
For Fall 2010, Malaysian
born designer Zang Toi showed a scrumptious line
of luxurious clothing designed for the woman who
limousines and lunches. Luscious furs topped impeccably
tailored suits, many topped off with a dollop of
glitter. Rakish looking men's hats completed the
look of the suits - an exclamation point to posh.
The there were the
ball gowns - lovely show stoppers. Zang is famous
for the slim silhouettes of his evening looks -
tall stems of luxurious fabric embellished with
glitter and glitz. This year he outdid himself with
two of his gowns: a strapless vision of purple and
black featuring a short glitzy skirt topped by an
overskirt of lush purple and black silk and a short
snappy black number topped by a evening coat which
featured beautifully bejeweled purple sleeves and
a mammoth floor draping train.
It was truly Purple
