Trina Turk stated that her inspiration for her 2010 line was the glamour of Acapulco, Mexico during the 1960's and 1970's when Acapulco was known as the Hollywood of the South. Turk's line sports lots of glitz and glamour, with brightly colored metallics, dark floral tropical prints and beading. Of particular note were the gold metallic boy shorts, the glamorous cover ups and the floppy hats.
