Mercedes Benz Fashion Week heads uptown to Lincoln Center. The new address is 33 West 60th Street 9/9/2010 to 9/16/2010 and that is all that the cat has let out of the bag.

I am counting my invitations daily and am excited to see the shows of my old pals Malan Breton, Christian Siriano, LaCoste, Luca Luca and Richie Rich.
So long Bryant Park and hello Lincoln Center. IMG has promised that this new fashion week will be digitalized with kiosk check in to avoid delays and picture photo ids to eliminate imposters with stolen and recycled business cards. Thank you IMG. Can’t wait! No worries I will disclose all.

Now that we have moved uptown west the dress code has changed. Ladies, curls curls curls, bobs and bangs and no longer then shoulder length. Flats, boots, open toe wedge heel thigh highs to be worn with shorts. Sleeveless Turtle-Necks and ethnic bulky jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, rings on every finger, and bring a sketch pad-“the artist” look is cool in the Uptown West.

Gentlemen wear blazers, loafers with no socks, colorful vets and button down shirts in plaid, polka dot or paisley, hair worn in wavy locks.
Everyone think “Culture” and “Cultured”, these are the new buzz words.

My assistant Shelly has thrown out all the contents of her three closets and started afresh for this season. The pressure and the spotlights are on!! See you at the Show!
