Nightmare Superstitions
September 24 - November 13, 2010
NOHO Event Center
Visitors to NIGHTMARE: SUPERSTITIONS
enter a surreal insane asylum. The patients have
voluntarily admitted themselves, seeking protection
from the danger they perceive is awaiting them
because they broke a superstition. They feel they’re
safe behind padded walls, and that they can be
set free if NIGHTMARE patrons break these superstitions
and accept bad luck themselves. They have to…it's
the only way out!
FUN HOUSE, a smaller, equally
demented haunted attraction, is the second component
of this year’s NIGHTMARE. Here, the inmates
are truly running the asylum in a twisted carnival-style
event that visitors walk through before they experience
the main attraction.
NIGHTMARE: SUPERSTITIONS runs
from September 24 through November 13.

Dear Doomed,
Do you want the good news or the bad news? The
bad news is that on Saturday 30 October zombies
are gonna take over the world and kill us all.
This is quite sad but there’s nothing we
can do so there’s no point getting all miserable
about it.The good news is that while the rest
of the world freaks out and cries and stuff, we’re
gonna gather together all the people we love,
lock ourselves in The Masonic Temple in Brooklyn,
barricade the doors, and party for as long as
we can until zombies break in and eat us.So, if
you want one last chance to live out your dreams,
come to the Halloween party to end all Halloween
parties, on your last night ever.DRESS CODE: Zombies
are going to kill us all – it’s your
last night ever – so wear what the fuck
you like – or wear what you dare –
or wear what makes you happy OR disguise yourselves
as zombies so they might not eat you! ANY LAST
REQUESTS? It’s your last chance to dance,
so you choose the music – post the tracks
you want to die to on the event wall – All
upbeat please – no misery – this is
about dancing till you die on your last night

Halloween Horror Musical
Premieres
GAY ZOMBIE: A Glam Rock Zombie Musical
Wednesday, October 27
Ace of Clubs Theater
Just in time for Halloween,
Ace of Clubs Theater presents GAY ZOMBIE:
A Glam Rock Zombie Musical. Written by and starring
Matthew Fletcher,
GAY ZOMBIE runs for one performance only, Wednesday,
October 27 at
7pm.
Tom’s not your typical
zombie. He’s a glam rock GAY ZOMBIE with
a
kick ass zombie band (many of whom have worked
on “Rock of Ages” on
Broadway). Together, they perform live in an on
stage experience
which covers music from the likes of AC/DC, The
Ramones, David Bowie,
Nine Inch Nails. Through rock songs and off the
wall stories, Tom
takes the audience through his journey of becoming
a zombie, fleeing
to New York to escape authorities and trying to
find life, love and
brains in the big city. GAY ZOMBIE: A Glam Rock
Zombie Musical
promises a killer band tearing up classic rock,
outrageous bloody
stage effects and a zombie love story that will
rip your heart
out…literally.

Musical runs Wednesday, October 27 at
7pm.
