Mexican born designer
Rolando Santana has designed a collection of lovely
party dresses and separates for Spring of 2011.
The designs are both elegant and body conscious,
created from a palette of neutral tones that will
flatter a variety of complexions.
Of particular note
are the asymmetrical designs and the lovely swirling
fabric on many of the dresses. The boy shorts are
also a lot of fun.
According to the
bio on his website, Santana was raised in Curnevaca,
Mexico, a beautiful town in the mountains that has
always been a mecca for the foreign and the fabulous.
Santana's mother was a dress maker so he was born
into the business of design.
Santana goal is to
"create looks with the primary purpose of always
making all women feel beautiful in his dresses."
I believe he has succeeded.
