Movie Star Elegance
Malaysian designer
Zang Toi presented his best collection yet on a
windy Sunday night at Lincoln Center. But the weather
did not deter the enthusiastic crowd of "Zangys"
who packed the tent tightly and spontaneuosly applauded
as the models glided down the runway.
Zang returned to
his design roots, presenting a line of beautifully
tailored luxurious day wear and crowd-stopping evening
wear. These are steamer-trunk clothes for women
and men who take a grand tour through life - no
roller bags here.
The collection was
created from a neutral palate of taupe, gray and
black with splashes of emerald green. The garments
tell a tale of luxury, romance and drama. Wear Zang
and you do not attend --- you arrive!
