Kati Stern has created a romantic fantasy of ballgowns for Spring Summer 2012; there is glitz and glamour galore. The gowns are embellished with over-the-top swag and are the perfect costumes to wear for a grand entrance to the "Venetian Ball of your Dreams."

Stern has a background in architecture and music and these influences are apparent in her designs. Many of her tops are asymmetrical, some with Grecian draping and others with deconstructed bows and/or swirls of fabric. Of particular note is one peach silk gown with a riot of silk flowers draping one hip. For the classicist, there is a ultra feminine strapless pink ballgown and a deceptively simple blue gown embellished with an asymmetrical band of glitz.
