Guild Hall launched this summer in East Hampton with their annual Season Spectacular benefit. Saturday evening Jay Leno performed for a sold-out audience at their John Drew Theater. After a quick welcome from executive director Andrea Grover the funny man kept the audience laughing for more than 90 minutes of nonstop hilarity. Dinner followed nearby in a tent at The Hedges Inn where board chairman Martin Cohen and his wife Michele greeted guests including Bill Boggs, Vera and Donald Blinken, Dick Cavett, Florence and Richard Fabricant, Alice and Stanley Harris, Ted Hartley, Herbert Kasper, Ninah and Michael Lynne, Joyce Menschel, Robert Rubin, Jeff Zucker and many more.
Guild Hall’s Summer Spectacular brings significant performers every year to East Hampton. Previous performers have included Kathy Griffin, The Beach Boys, Martin Short, Audra McDonald, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, and Liza Minelli.
